Sunday May 26th New Classic Craft Cocktails with Anna Wallace

$210.00
sold out

Anna Wallace makes fabulous cocktails. She has worked in some of the best joints in Seattle over the past few years: The Walrus and Carpenter, Single Shot, Dot’s Deli, and Oddfellows. Whenever I saw her behind the bar I knew the drinks would be great. She also created the Seattle Seltzer Company making a celery flavored seltzer for restaurants.

Anna will be coming out to the farm this summer to give us the tools and techniques to make our own cocktails and beverages. The cocktails we'll cover in this class reflect a small section of what is considered "modern classics" meaning cocktails developed from the 70's on, and riffs on classics.  The techniques of making craft syrups are featured, and a deep dive will cover how individual components contribute to complex flavors.

Some of the drinks she will teach us will be a Negroni sbagliato, a clover club with gin and white port, and an espresso martini with vodka, aquavit and Mr. Black coffee liquor.

Somewhere in there we will have lunch so we are not just drinking all afternoon. Anna is a delight and full of vast knowledge on cocktails, shrubs, infusions and syrups. We are all sure to have a lovely afternoon.
