This is the second year of BarnTalks at the farm. There will be two: one will be on July 20th, the other July 27th. The events will take place in the newly repurposed timber-frame cow barn.
Each BarnTalk will have two speakers, discussing who they are, the work they do and what they love. One will speak before lunch, the other after. Each will be interviewed by someone who knows them well.
We will be serving coffee and pastries in the morning, lunch mid-day, and a bit of a happy hour at the end. Arrive at 10 am, and the day should wind up around 4 pm.
The day will be filled with interesting conversations, stories and ideas. And there will be plenty of chances for asking questions and engaging with the speakers.
The barn is open to the pastures, and just forty-five guests will fill the former cow barn. It is a beautiful space, intimate and yet also open to the farm and summer air.
BarnTalks is a chance to spend the day at the farm, have a great lunch, meet new people with similar interests and get to know the lives and work of these fascinating speakers.
I am very excited about these events and I think you are going to love them.
